Why isn't Universal Century included?

SD Gundam G Generation Genesis only has uc...and now this game excludes them? Why can't you make another game like SD Gundam G Generation Overworld where we can get the best of all world/timeline?

What you are asking for is a herculean effort. Cross Rays has been built from the ground up with brand new animations and higher quality models. It looks 100 times better than Genesis in every regard. They could have just as easily copy/pasted everything from Genesis into this game, but it would be a half-baked product.

Quality >>>>> Quantity. Tom Create also doesn't have an unlimited budget and unlimited time to makes these games, so they decided to take deep dives on four alternate timelines and their side stories.

To add onto this, its not just simplely porting them over. Because of Merge, Upgrade Trees, and swapping you can do with the mobile suits you would have to rework all 600+ Genesis suits to play nice with CrossRays.

Cross rays is a whole new engine, so yea hard to do every gundam game ever, plus they just did genisis which focused soley on UC, UC has so many sub series it would be hard to include that plus the other generations they already have. Also have to take into account size limitations on consoles, a game like Overworld in the new engine would quite possibly be too large for single disk setups.

And it's possible that they're building up to another Overworld-style game, and by putting out Genesis and Cross Rays as separate things, they don't have to spend as much time on the visual assets, allowing them to work in even more series

DLC is always a solution to add the missing series but for some reason they choose to not do that.

just for info, the DLC do add other missing titles but with no scenario, only 1-3 pilots and mechs .. SAD!!!

Overworld was like 90% reused assets, you'll have to wait if you want another big game like that

Overworld is using asset from older games that why they can put everything on it but Genesis and Cross-rays is a new engines they had to made everything from scratch,just wait for the next 2-3 years there will be G gen game with both UC and AU

Personally, I think this could be the best SD Gundam yet, depending on how Tom Create executes the scenarios.

That's because that was the third in it's series, following the original G Generation and then G Generation Zero. G Generation F was a fantastic game, no doubt about it.
