Okay, I'll rethink them if you like. For the moment, though, I still think it's an example of how computer games are still in their infancy, while novel writers even back in the 1800's would almost all make ends meet much better.
I'll let you know if my thinking changes my mind. Don't hold your breath, tho'.
A witch!
Anywayz, now I've installed the 3 dlc's, finished the Lord Harkon questline, and started the whole Dragonborn with Harkon's daughter as a follower. Sometime in the Temple of Miraak, I seem to have caught vampirism again.
And now I can't get cured. I don't want vampirism for this character. I've talked to Falion, and no proper conversation interaction. Talked to several inn-keepers throughout Skyrim, but they don't have any hints. Drank several "Cure disease" potions during the early stages, with no effect.
What is this obsession that Beth has with forcing you to be a vampire?
If cure disease potions didn't work while you just had SV, though, that's definitely a glitch. Did you also try getting a blessing at a shrine? Not sure if that works when the potions don't, but worth a go.
Mmmm, you gave Serana a blood potion, didn't you. I bet you did.
There's a bug where, if she drinks it, the game thinks you drank it. Because the potion's effects include reducing you one vampirism stage, yet you are not a vampire, there is an inconsistency which the game corrects by making you a vampire at the appropriate stage.
Use console commands to remove it, this one should work
setstage 000EAFD5 10
It's a good thing about Skyrim that I have never yet run into a glitch where the problem couldn't at least be solved with a cheat code (unlike another topselling game I might mention where games almost inevitably sooner or later will get into a failure state without any remedy of any kind).
Spot-on, bro! I did just that.
Anyway, the cheat code worked. Thanks for helping out, guys. :)
Or if you want to look at it another way, maybe he's just attempting the Clavicus Vile Cure for Vampirism.
