Amulets of Night Power glitch

I've travelled to the specified locations for the quest and killed the marked NPCs, but they don't have the amulets on them and I can't use additem to give them to their corpses.

any help would be appreciated

ok, update, it IS in their inventory, but I only learned that by using the "inv" command on the body, I can make him equip it, but it will not show up in the UI and I cannot purge it from his inventory

it's the quest from Feran Sadri where you have to get the amulets of Bats and Gargoyle from dungeons, I am experiencing a problem where I am unable to loot the amulets from the NPCs because the UI does not show it in their inventory, and they cannot be given the amulets because it simply doesn't show up if I add one to them

Try adding them into your inventory manually. Type help "amulet of night power" into the console (open it with ~ besides your 1 key at the top of te keyboard) and check the id. Use player.additem [id] [number of items] to add them into your inventory. This works for me in a few quests, but since I did not experience this bug, I do not know whether it will work.

hmm, I actually did try this, but the quest did not update or in any way acknowledge that I had the amulet.
