Breezehome - Child's bedroom issue.

When I try to buy the child's bedroom for the Breezehome from Aventus Avenicci there is no price listed for it. All it shows for the price is: Childrens bedroom [...]

Does anyone else have this issue? Unloaded all mods including Unofficial Skyrim Patch, but the same issue still exists.

had same problem bro i think it might be lag or a bug cause my whole house about did it to me

I'm going to guess it's an addon conflict issue. I was able to change my whiterun house easily.

I havent been able to purchase the alchemy laboratory in Breezehome for ages now, and the problem continues with the childs room. This is a common issue; anything that affects Breezehome pretty much breaks the place. My brother couldnt even enter without having the game crash after purchasing Hearthfire, and he only had the Striping fix.

I never had that problem when I did it. But then again I changed it back to an alchemy room because I lost the Daedra hearts and special alchemy gauntlets after the purchase. I'll probably change it to children's bedroom again after I've moved all my stuff out of there. The main vampire quests are over. Whiterun is safe and the messy ashes outside of my doorstep are finally disappearing.

I have the same issue and it is with all the homes I have bought not just the Breezehome. I do not know of a fix for this yet.

I Can move Children into Hearthfire Houses but not into Houses such as Breezehome in Whiterun

I was reading recently that the load order between Hearthfires and Dawnguard can cause this. Idk if that's true or not and the thread is gone explaining it, but it would do no harm to check if moving Hearthfires below Dawnguard in the load order would fix this.

looks like im not the only one, but is there seriously no fix for this? I'll try buying thealchemy lab first them buying the childrens bedroom and get back to you guys, as far as what ive seen the problem is having hearthfire DLC. maybe try removing that, then buying the room then adding it again.

Have you tried actualy purchasing it? The money will be removed from your inventory automaticaly, no need to count it out.

Yes, it does sometimes show [...] as the amount, but I've never not been able to purchase it anyway.

ive bought it multiple times, used about 1000 gold troubleshooting, trying to buy the achemy lab first didnt work, i removed hearthfire so ill get back if that works

In the abscence of mods, it's due to the load order of the DLC.

Its 1000 gold for Breezehome, yes. Its some kind of minor bug it occurs under certain circumstance. Its not not game breaking though as you can still purchase the house anyway it doesn't affect game play.

If you want potential game breaking bugs, try purchasing the alchemy lab first if you have Dawnguard, thats a doozy.

i tried the other way, i was able to get the alchemy lab, but after turning hearthfire back on was not able to switch it to the childrens bedroom
