Gray-Mane/Battle-Born feud
I think I have the solution to end the feud between the Gray-Manes and Battle-Borns, let Olfina Gray-Mane marry with Jon Battle-Born, they are the ones of their respective clans who miss being friends with each other. So if they married with each other there might happen two things, one the Gray-Manes and Battle-Borns try to become friends again or two, they won't approve and remain enemies.

I don't think they should be friends, I mean the Battle-Borns helped the Thalmor capture a Gray-Mane, and I doubt that Olfina would like Jon if she knew. Oh and she's already married...
...to me (used console to make her available), so I don't think I can use your plan.

Then there is only one option. Kill them. Kill them all.

If you noticed, they are arguing about which side they are on (the stormcloaks or the empire). Pretty sure it won't stop unless one gives in or wiped out. Anyway, I do not think Bethdesda has any plans to fix their dialogue after one wins the other during the war questline.

The family elders will stay enemies for the most part, no matter which side wins the war. Several generations down the road (well outside the scope of the game), I imagine that the two clans will be friendly again, as the war will likely be all but forgotten.

I would, but my character holds principles very highly.

That's probably the best guess anyone can make.

Personally, I have good relationships with both families, so I'm sad that there is no additional dialogue option to reconcile them.

I didn't realise I failed to protect Alfhid Battle-Born from a dragon attack. She's the only neutral family member I like. I'll have to go back a few saves because I can't play knowing I failed to protect one innocent in Whiterun.

someone should make a mod that ends the feud with the two clans

That's a good idea.
