Quest IDs
I am looking to find out if it is possible to find the ID for any quest in game using the console. I am looking to do this as I have been unfortunate enough to encounter some broken missions and I would like to remove them from my Quest log. I have already tried looking for them online and haven’t come up with anything. The two I am currently dealing with two side quests – one to bring an Amulet of Arkay to Torbjorn who has disappeared from the map, and another to collect my reward from a Yarl – I forget who it is but I know for a fact I already collected the reward and the quest remains.

So again if anyone knows of a way to find quest IDs in game using the console I would love to hear it.

Open the console, type in "help [the quest's name] 4" and hit Enter.

The game's going to spew all FormIDs that are relevant to that one string of text - questlines included.

if it's Jarl Skald you can't, i've been trying forever. my micellanious quest log is so full of unfixable crap it isn't even funny.

as for torbjorn, he should be in windhelm, by the blacksmith, if he isn't he may have gotten killed, use the console command "player.placeatme 1413F" (without quotesd) to place another one of him at you and give it to him. then kill him.

@LEAM1983

I was able to find all the quest info for all the primary quests, but none of the miscellaneous quests showed up of course.

@Duo Blackrose

Yep it's Skald! With Torbjorn I was able to find him, he has just simply reset himself. He starts the conversation over again and when I agree to find him an amulet, it creates a second quest and he completely stops talking after that. Very frustrating.

hmm, that's never happened to me before, nor is it i think a known bug. you'd have to do it Leam's way, i think, which is difficult and convoluted. nobody has the quest id's on hand for these kinds of things, not even the skyrim wiki.

Yeah that looks be my best chance right now is just to did through the numbers the console comes up with. I'll report back with what I find (if anything)
