i bought hearfire mayby 3 days ago and now i have same problem. I have 3 mods and i did disable those but no changes.
Well, I had the same problem, CTD at entry, so I had to revert to a much earlier save. The second time round I didn't completely furnish the house - eg no trophy heads - and I stored less in the building, as well as turning off about a third of my mods.

I'm still running over 30 mods now with no hassles so far, so I'm not sure whether my attempt at avoiding Hearthfire trouble is actually working or if the earlier problem is unrelated to the solutions I used. I guess it's a case of try it and see. Good luck.
so its a problem with my save?
had same problem with CTD in entryway on fully upgraded house. Go to the workbench outside (the smaller one) and remove all internal workbenches. Haven't crashed since.
Jinx Striker: Thanks for answering! I removed all internal workbenches and put back on all mods and works! U are my weekend savior!!! :D
didnt work for me :( luckily i reset the hearthfire dlc by disabling and reenabling, maybe i might have better results in winstand manor. thank you all for your help so far!
yw Mustis. Mer, the only other thing I've done is set DG above HF on the load list and put both towards the top below the HD texture pack. I'm running 50 mods with no issues.. now 3 days clean. If that still don't work, I don't know. Prior to that, I disabled all Mods and loaded a save that always CTD'd to verify the CTD issue is with HF, and not the mods or HD pack. (I've seen quite a bit of comments in the modding community regarding load order causing issues)

I also bought Hearthfire a few days ago. I am experiencing same issue and escaped the house finally w/o CTD'ing. I read post about removing the workbenches. Tried this, and then adventured around a bit in Skyrim and came back to the Lakeview house. When I entered it CTD's immediately. I have no other mods installed.
Jinx: I tried a bunch of things and your solution worked. Thanks a ton! On the plus side all of my mods have been cleaned through TES5Edit and I've started using BOSS so I should have a more stable modding environment anyway.
I found a temporary solution. You have to either add, or remove the workbenches from inside the house to fix the bug. Use the planning bench outside to do it. If you have all benches removed and it crashes upon entry, then add all benches. If all benches are added already, then remove them. For some reason it fixes the bug and you can go into the house with no issues. However, come back later and you may have to do this again.
skyrim has way to many issues, i dont play it nearly as much as i used to anymore. everytime i fix a bug another pops up a few weeks later. bethesda made a great game, but after six years of building this game its unacceptable to have a game with so many problems after working on it since 2006.
CTD after entering Lakeview Manor. I just ran in to this problem a couple of days ago. After going back a few saves and trial and error, I have found my problem started after I bought Proudspire in Solitude. I have tried to find a fix but no luck. Has anyone had this particular CTD problem with Lakeview?
