STUCK AS A VAMPIRE LORD

OK ive been stuck as a vampire lord for 5 hours and iv just been using the revert form power and nothing but the soung effect for it faling any one know console comand or something to help

How did you become a vampire lord at level 11? (It's not impossible, I think, but it's unusual.)

Which icy cave?

Much easier to help if you explain your problem clearly.

u know the quest where u have to get the last elder scroll
and u have to find this old man and hes in this icy cave and he told u to find him this cube and sphere

srsly this is the 2nd time i heard frm someone that its weird for my level to do the stuff i did
im 14 now :D

i have been doing lots of looting and sell stuff and bought all the spells

Generally Dawnguard doesn't kick in until level 10 or so, I think it's possible to go to Fort Dawnguard before you hear about it from anyone, but most people tend not to do that.

You still seem to be talking about at least two or three different problems, though, there's no monsters in Septimus Signus' Outpost (the icy cave), and I'm still not sure what you mean by 'kill the monsters in the book'. If you come across some monsters you can't kill because you're not strong enough, go away (or reload an earlier save if you can't exit the location without killing them) and improve your combat skills/gear/spells. If you're stuck as a vampire lord and nothing works to fix it, reload to a save before you transformed and see if you still get stuck.

This is someone else's thread, though, I'd recommend you start a new one as the OP will be getting notifications about this thread which may be annoying. When you start a new thread, try to be as clear as possible what you mean (check the names of quests/locations if you need to) and also post your mod load order as the issue could be due to a bad mod/load order.

Ah, okay, you read the book and you're in a really weird looking place with books/pages all over the walls and floor and horrid tentacle creatures? Are you doing this at the same time as you're a vampire lord/around Septimus, or is this on a separate save?

The Dragonborn content (anything on Solstheim, involving Black Books, etc) is *definitely* intended for higher level characters, especially if you're quite new to Skyrim I wouldn't advise going to Solstheim (the place you have to go to by boat from Windhelm) until at *least* level 30, with some pretty good gear. Maybe even later.

YEs its too hard to kill those monsters so i used the killall cheat so after the blond lady's dad got killed by the immortal god of tentacles
i did the vampire quest where u will find the daughter of the vampire king and u gain this vampiric abilities and i did the find the mom quest in the land of dead where everything is purple and look its really awesome how u can just summon this demon horse anywhere u want
now i cant progress bcs im stuck in the vapire lord form and the old man kept on walking in a loop... guess gna redo all those ♥♥♥♥ :(

Do you not have a save from before you turned into the vampire lord form, or have you been playing in that form all that time?

I'd really not recommend using console codes if you can help it, it can cause bugs in the game, often in ways that aren't immediately obviously related to the console. A mod load order would help, too. And either way, save frequently, using proper saves through the menu, don't rely on autosaves or quicksaves.

no actually i didnt know that my lvl is not able to kill those monsters and its too late bcs im in the quest already and if i dont kill those monsters i wont be able to go out frm that quest and so i will be stuck bcs im in some sort of dgn. thansk anyway !!!

No, fair enough, I was more meaning for future reference. Most of the game you can generally handle at any level provided you've got some okay gear and combat skills, but Solstheim is definitely built around higher level characters (or lower level ones with at least one follower...)

Vampire transformation is script based iirc, sounds like a scripting problem. Any mods that overhaul vampires and effects? Try a savegame script cleaner. Also theres a thread on Nexus forum about removing unwanted magical effects that may be worth a shot

I have the exact same problem! I thought being a Khajjit was cool then I lost interest. So I used commands do change my race. Then I joined the companions finished everything blah blah. Installed Dawnguard DLC Finished that blah blah Serana turned me into a vampire, Worked for a few weeks then BOOM! I'm stuck. I really hope they fix this. I'm a level 50 Nord with almost 100 everything (But magicka. Working on that)

I know that this discussion is EXTREMELY old now but i encountered this problem recently.. "Duck" said use "player.setrace XXX" and that reverts the form immediately! i also realized that no one gave Duck any credit so here ya go! Yay
