Armour Duplication Glitch
I switched out the armour on one of my manikin's in my house (Lakeview Manor) and when I left my house I killed a couple of bandits who attacked me and after looting their bodies I went back inside to place the items in my amoury chest and then I noticed the manikin now had the armour that I took from the manikin instead of the one I put on it. So I went to check its inventory and it not only had the new armour I put on it but also a second copy of each piece of the old armour.

The armour happened to be General Tulius's armour, I now have three copies of his armour as well as three copies of hardened falmer armour Because it keeps happening every time I re-enter my home.

Lol! "Amour" is love in French, so I'm thinking love duplication glitch! Realizing its armor duplication, it seems that more is better. Skyrim is very glitchy depending on numerous factors. In this case it worked out for you. Sell what you don't need. I've had a similar glitch at the forge, where I crafted one armor, but ended up with two. I knew I only crafted one, and I knew I didn't have it in my inventory when I started.

This also happens to me, every time I leave and then enter my house, the mannequin has the armour that I took off of it. I'm also using Lakeview Manor

I just use the mannequins as show peices from various quest armor sets. So never ran into this bug. I have noticed some mannequins would move around the room if no armor on it.

The Hearthfires armour mannequins are really glitchy. In Lakeview Manor on my machine the chest armour always duplicates.

You know whats funny, I corrected my spelling from 'Amour' to Armour in the body of the post numerous times but I failed to notice that it was incorrect in the title.

Im having a similar problem

when trying to place 4 pieces of armor on a display they automatically fail and rebound back into my inventory

a Enchanted Elven chest piece with a 50 hp enchantment
a Enchanted Elven Boots 50% frost resistance
a Unenchanted Elven gauntlets and a Unenchanted Ebony gauntlets

they will not transfer to any of the Armor displays in Lakeview Mannor

I would be annoyed at best at this only now for some reason every time I enter Lakeview Mannor these items clone themselves in my inventory
if I put them in the chest or sell them including the original ones every time I go back to Lakeview mannor these 4 items respawn in my inventory... this is seriously annoying me

add to that the Manor you can build near solitude doesnt work either
I build the foundation etc but no house apeared..

When I went back to lakeview manor however around my home are now the foundation outlines for the buildings im supposed to be building near bloody solitude..

I know Bathesda make some pretty buggy games but seriously this is just pathetic
I've reloaded a earlier file turned off all my mods and retraced my steps and its even worse XD
without the unofficial patches and mods my Lakeview manor completely vanishes along with all its contents...
Bethesda really need to pull their heads out of their asses with The Elder Scrolls series
these games are just soo poorly made it's not even funny
and it sucks because the TES games really are superb... when they work
