Black Book: Untold Legends Problem/bug

I've encountered either a problem (blindly missed door switch) or a bug. I'm at chapter four of the Black book: Untold Legends and I've killed both guardian lurkers and "flipped" every switch I've found, but I can't progress. The hallway that moves (at least I think it should be moving) is not anymore.
I've saved and left the book. Done a few things out and about. Went back to the book and ended up at the start of it. No enemies in sight. Granted I killed everything the last trip so it doesnt' seem out of place, but mentioning it incase it's odd. Anyway, on the way back to where I'm stuck I checked all the switchs and every where incase I had missed something the first time. Haven't found anything new from the last trip.
Is there something I missed somewhere? Or is it a bug of sorts? I mean I can see where I should go (through a crack between the wall and the end of the hallway) so there has to be a way there.

@Alembrik Ok....well, how do I make the hallway curve towards the reward? ^^; the page doesn't say. Unless I need to just keep going in and out of the book till it leads to the right place?

Hermaeus Mora's realm is a pain in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥! Very hard to navigate. I had to reload numerous times to get through each location. Keep trying and keep the black books. The map is not going to help you much, btw. You need to follow the moving tunnel. Its gonna get worse! There's one section where you have to keep in the dark, while the shadows are shifting from dark to light. Have fun!

in the dark section use a torch or a magelite spell

as you head down that last hallway with the book at the end of it, but then the hallway curves follow the curve a you will come opon a lurker-kill him and continue on around to the beginning of that last hallway again and as you head down the hallway it will curve the other way this time, kill the lurker and continue around again to the beginning of the hallway again, head down again for the third time but this time you will reach the book.

With me, I killed the first lurker and the door just didn't open. So now he wont respawn and theres no way to go through and have the hallway curve again...

I'm dealing with the same problem and its driving me MAD! Is this another bug or am I missing something. Lurker is dead but door is locked. I have googled this issue and searched every damn forum but still no answer.

Do you have any mods and do you also have the Unofficial Patches?

I had the Nexxus mods but removed them a while ago. Unfortunately I had to "cheat" and use the console with the no clipping command to finish the quest. Kind of sucks but what can you do...way too many bugs in the game to try and figure out what is causing what issues. After several months of playing I'm getting to the point where its no longer enjoyable to play but the hardcore gamer in me wants to finish the game.

When the game\mod is bugged I don't mind using Console commands.

XD yeah im having the same problem i feel bad debuging but after about a half an hour of looking for a solution i just decided to noclip to the book

removing mods mid playthrough can break a save so eh

I found the solution. Simply wait 10 days and do it again. Do not defeat the lurkers, will do my own post

Here is a GOOD solution for this bug:

Use "tcl" -command on the console and go past the locked doors. Then after you are through the last door of left side (past the lurker) and see the entrance of the black book, aim yourself well enough on the edge to use Whirlwind Sprint-shout and "cheat" your way there. This method worked for me and I managed to show the bug who is the boss here. xD
Be sure to save before the "jump" attempt so you can try again if you fall on the "plague-ocean"!
