Morrowloot 4.0 artifacts
I recently started playing with morrowloot installed and I really love the mod and its concept. My only problem is that the artifacts are insanely hard to find. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the exploration the mod requires, but there is no information anywhere on how to find the artifacts and I don't want to look in the creation kit because that would ruin the spirit of the mod. In short I decided to start this post so those using the mod could post where they found artifacts from the mod as a resource to those using it in the future.

Yeah, link it.

Hey, its my first discussion ive started so im not sure how to link it, just look up morrowloot 3.0 in the workshop and it'll come up. It adds lots of artifacts from other TES games such as Goldbrand, Eidolon's ward, The Daedric crescent, etc and hides them very, very, very well in the world. (theres probably around 20 or 25). Be warned though the mod does not just add artifacts, it also removes high level items (anything above steel) from leveled loot and the author hand placed them in level and lore appropriate places in the world. Examples: The thalmor have elven weapons and armor, orcish strongholds are some of the only places to get orcish armor and weapons and there is one set of deadric armor in the game scattered in high level areas and very well hidden. I personally like the system better than skyrim's "This bandit randomly had daedric weapons in their loot stash even though they have god like powers and can't be forged by humans" approach. If this appeals to you definetly check it out and subscribe so I can get some people to help find artifacts.

Also if you do subscribe to the mod and find some artifacts try to use this format while posting locations

Artifact name
Map Location
Notable Enemies in the Area
Special Artifact Effects
Other Advice on how to get the item and where it is placed in its map location

Stendarr's Hammer
Wreck of the Brinehammer (Somewhat West of Dawnstar along the Coast)
Some very large mudcrabs
Launches Enemies into the sky but has a weight of 1000
Get to the cargohold and look for a giant-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the bottom deck, jump in the hole and there will be a pool of water with the hammer in it

I've been there, just not with the mod, since this is the very first time I have heard of it. Sounds quite interesting tho.

It is, its one of those mods that is very awesome but still somehow flys under the radar.

I wish it added the artifacts without the whole "realism" approach to loot.

Idk, I really like finding something cool after a hard fight rather then having a random chance of getting a powerful item just because I opened a boss chest after killing a random bandit leader two feet from a city, its more rewarding and its an awesome feeling when you find an artifact after searching for a while. If you want to cheat im sure you could use console commands or the creation kit to get them. It also makes the game more challenging without having to raise the difficulty setting, I was using steel until level 25 when I finally had the guts to raid an orc stonghold for some better armor.

Here's a link for the mod he's talking about, for us lazy people:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78468293&searchtext=morrowloot

Also for future reference MafiaGeorge just search up the mod in the workshop and at the top of the page but underneath the Store, Library, Community, etc tabs you'll see a link which can then be copy and pasted.

Thanks for the help, I'll do that in the future

Thank you, I wrote it down on my notepad, but had been to lazy to look it up as of yet. You saved me the effort.

I don't really find it more rewarding than getting the items from a boss chest or enemy. That's the fun of the game for me: looting bodies and opening treasure. I don't really find all that much fun in having to scour a giant world to find the one set of awesome armor in the game; that would bore me to death. Immersing yourself in a game is all about creating a story and character that you find fun. As much as I would love to add some sweet older loot to the game;I would hate to be forced to console commands every time I wanted to do something beyond the imposed restrictions.

It is slightly tweaked, I believe it adds crafting back in, but on a different note I feel like the discussion is getting off track, this is supposed to be a place for people to post artifact locations, not discuss the mod or its versions. In the future please only post artifact and rare item locations or questions pertaining to artifacts
