What's with house mods and the dibella statue?

Well, for my own house mod (which isn't even finished yet), I haven't put in a Dibella statue, but I can see why some of the others might. For starters, just look at some of the "pin-up" or "poser" screenshots here on Steam. Then think about how all this stuff is actually quite tame compared to what's out there on other, more lax, websites. Then you can see why they have an obsession with a nude female form.

But it also may be because Skyrim is rather lacking in fine art. Just open up the CK, take a look at the world object list, and you'll see that the Nords of Skyrim don't have much in the way of art. It's mostly all animal skins, mounted animal heads/fish, wall baskets, and some fine china. So I guess the Dibella statue is kind of the closest most modders can get to putting fine art in their mods without creating a whole new item model.

The only thing I like about them is stealing them and having a collection of them at my house since there's not too many of them in the game.

Good thing guards don't do random checks.

She could be wearing a leotard. It's not specifically defined if she is naked or not.
