Shift to Run?
Strange, throughout the game I was able to run always without having to press the Caps Lock button or holding the shift key. Now, I always walk and I have to press those keys if I want to run. Is this a bug?

Sometimes if you accidently hit CAPS then have to reload a save, the game thinks the CAPS is still on.

Yeah, I've had this issue before as well. It seems that if you're holding the "walk" key (whichever key you have binded to that action) when someone initiates conversation with you, then you're stuck on "walk" mode and have to hold the key just to jog. Sometimes I've been able to mash the keys enough times to where it fixes itself, but I usually have to relaunch the game. It's really quite annoying, but that's why I avoid walking when I know dialogue is about to come up.

In my case, I was on a quest to stop Aludin. I was at that college where I try to find out where the Elder Scroll is. I entered a room of that college (or sometime before that) and that's when I noticed something wasn't right. Can't remember if I pressed the shift key or caps lock at the time. Anyways, I relaunced the game, no issues so far.

EDIT: I remember an NPC talking to me but not in a way where it brings up a menu with responses to choose from.

It's happened to me a few times with load doors as well. It seems like it's really random. Sometimes load doors cause it, sometimes they don't. A lot of times dialogue will cause it, a few times it won't. If anyone actually knows what truly causes this and if there are any solutions, I urge them to share it. It really is a bit frustrating having to relaunch the game just because I was holding the "walk" key at the wrong time.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
