So am i going to lose my saves if they remove Dawnguard?
So all my current saves are after i curiously started the Dawngaurd quest that everyone is getting for "free" and if they decide to remove it/take it off my account will my saves be ruined?..any of the saves i do now will be after i started the quest so what do i do?

I believe that they provided a product and marked a fixed price on that product...You received it and they got your money. They might be able to remove it from their 'stock', so that the mistake doesn't happen again, but as for you, you bought it already, it's YOURS.

From my personal experience, they sold you a product and they can't take it off you if they make a mistake. As they say,

'the transaction is final'.

Retain your proof of purchase.

This is not like buying a car or a toaster. You did not buy the game and thus own it.... You bought one licensed copy of the game to play it, which has a load of terms and conditions attached. The game is not yours and if you do anything that breaks your license agreement, the real owners of the game can and will revoke your licensed copy of that game and take it away. If you refuse, I hope you either have a lot of money or a real good lawyer.

Steam can also lock your account and remove what they please if things go far enough.

That little window that has that "Agree" button on it that we all blindly click on when we install a game or program has every detailed list of what is allowed and not allowed for you to do with what you are installing.... Maybe you should read it sometime because it tells you exactly what they can do in response to what you do or don't do.

When it comes to electronic products like games, music, movies or tv shows, You own nothing. None of us do.

Correct. We just rent even if we have a hard copy.
