The other continents

While the rest of Tamriel is interesting and amazing what about Atamora, Akavir, Yokuda, Pyandonea, Thras, And Aldmeris? I would very much l like to see a mod that incorperates these into the game.

Ok, I'll go down the list. Yokuda sank into the sea, so no going there. Aldmeris is most likely mythological, and doesn't exist. Atmora is currently uninhabitable, because it became too cold (we're talking cold enough to instantly freeze any water). Thras is made up of coral, so only the slug-like Sloads can actually move on it without getting cut to pieces. Pyandonea would be cool, I believe its somewhere to the south of Elsweyr and east of the Summerset Isles. Akavir would also be cool, it has extremely varied climates and a lot of interesting cultures. But there's still a lot of Tamriel to go, so I don't see them going to another continent anytime soon.

that or you could make your own continent from scratch. An idea but the guy who made Falskar did it in a year. Falskar really isnt a continent, just a moderatly huge island in the middle of the ocean. im sort of wondering why there are no tropical beache's and nice warm weather. D:

Also these are the only KNOWN continents so maybe in the next elder scrolls game they might mention another one and that would be interesting, also we need more info on what the rest of akivir is about. We know that there is a japanese part but what else is there? We need a bit more to go on..

lol, official TES lore has already established that thier iis six continent's on nirn aside from Tamriel. i doubt there would be any more unless other worlds started merging with nirn thus adding more land.

Ooo, like maybe in the future the dwemer return and hurl some sort of dwemer planet into nirn and the two, connect? Lol, that would be cool and to me the dwemer are definetely capable because they allready made it to aetherius

now aside from continent's, TES mentions nothing about thier bieng any limited amount of very far away from the mainland island chain's. some food for thought. (an Island chain is a large group of multiple island's close enough to be seen by each other.)

It would be cool to see a non-eylswer caribean type enviorment. now we can plunder the sea as pirate's! :D

Lol, that would be a very interesting thing in TES. The only appearance of pirates i saw was in the elweyr moonpath mod that was really cool(still haven't finished it)

i doubt they would do it. the dwemmer wouldnt be able to comprehend the destruction that would ocour when two massive objects like that colided together. not to mention official TES lore says that the dwemmer were banished to other realms like Oblivion because they tried to ascend to god hood.

In the elderscrols wiki they said that before they disapeared they did achieve passage to aetherius and thats why they dissapeared. Also the dwemer did try to destroy other races so it wouldnt surprise me if they pulled somthing like that

well yeah, i can see why the dwemmer were banished though. they were trying to all become god's. too bad the god's dont like sharing thier power.

Lol yes, they only shared it with talos, the false god. sorry i kind of love how much high and mighty the thalmor and high elves are. And i do agree with you on how they were banished, perhaps maybe some of the particulary powerful dwemer made it but then that makes me wonder............What is aetherius like??? o_O i am curious...

you have to remember in morrowind there was the tribunal and that supposedly made the dwemer disappear because it was either them or complete destructuion of morrowind

Atherius is basically TES version of Heaven. It is supposed to be a perfect paradise where nobody grows old and die's. before anyone get's Atherius and the nordic underworld of sovengard mixed up, sovengard is home to the HONORED dead. Hero's both in tittle and historical deed. Atherius is heaven where all the good mortal's go to when they die. Oblivion is the TES version of hell but instead of just going to hell because you were bad, you can also go to hell for bieng in sevice or a champion of one of the deadric lord's. for Ex: you could serve the Deadric Prince Meridia and do nothing wrong but slaying the undead in her name. same with Azura and any of the other peacful deadric prince's. the one's who died while in service of a deadric lord, thier souls are sent to oblivion where they will be re-created as an Immortal Dremora in the image of whatever their lord is. Soul's that were bad in life but serve no deadric lord that go to Oblivion are to spend an eternity to be tortured by the Deadric lord's and thier underling's. :P

well i said they usually release during five year interval's. but bethesda may have nothin on thier plate beside's TES in the future so the more time they have for TES, the more stuff they can pump out.
