Daughter of owner of The Winking Skeever, this little girl put a contract out on me. I spent the night and took some pots from my room and I guess she saw me. Seems odd to me.

It just assigns a name to someone if you are "seen" taking something. I've had dead people put out contracts on me. I thought dead men tell no tales..

Maybe the courier took his sweet time delivering the contract to the thugs.... Took a detour into a skooma den, headed to the pub, danced with some goats, married a hagraven, then a month later, woke up in a haystack, reached into his pocket and went, "Oh crap, I gotta still deliver this!!"

But it's been a long time since I was caught stealing anything, yet I still got thugs after me.... Some NPC's must just figure you were the last they saw in the area their items were stolen from and think you're guilty.
