Yellow butterfly wings & one of the 3 coloured mountain flowers for example

You realise that there is more than 1 recipe for that. you only need 2 ingredients to make most potions. The simplest way to get it yourself is to open ingredients, and to eat one of each ingredients you have. That will give you the first of 4 types of potions it will make. Of course if you haven't been collecting ingredients, you will be in trouble in that you will have to s tart collecting or buying. Off the top of my head, I think one is butterfly wings.

Ash Hopper Jelly
Blue Dartwing
Blue Mountain Flower
Butterfly Wing
Charred Skeever Hide
Daedra Heart
Eye of Sabre Cat
Felsaad Tern Feathers
Rock Warbler Egg
Swamp Fungal Pod
Wheat
Blisterwort
Imp Stool

Those are all the ingredients that can be used to make health restoration potions. Note that some may give additional positive or negative effects when combined. If blisterwort and imp stool are used together thay will make a potion that is only 60% as strong as other potions.

I love the fact you thought to ask because it seems easy to find potion recipes for everything other than health potions. Tons of people probably wanted to know this.

Just wondering if someone could share the recipie for a potion that will raise my carrying weight. I think it's called a power potion but I don't remember. I have a ton of ingrediants and I have eaten every one of them trying to find something to make that potion and I just haven't come up with anything yet. Thanks in advance for your time.
Murry.

Can't you people just look up a skyrim wiki, but instead you spend your time asking here?

Actually, the most common healing potion recipe is given to you soon after starting the game, if you talk to the the Riverwood innkeeper NPC about his alchemy table, or any other NPC that has an alchemy table in their shop. The key being: talk to NPCs.

That is true but that is only one version of a healing potion. There are other kinds of healing potions that we can make, so it isn't the only one. And just because it is common doesn't mean it is the best.

the most powrful potion for fortify health is: giants toe, blue butterflywing, blue mountain flower. this potion gives multiple efffects and is the best potion to create if u want to level up ur alchemy. if u want health potions that are easy to gather id just reccommend wheat and blue mountain flower. not sure about what other ingredient would make it more powereful., but since these are so easy to find its easy to make them in great numbers.

other interesting recipes u should try:

Glow Dust + Glowing Mushroom + Hanging Moss
Creep Cluster + Mora Tapinella + Scaly Pholiota
Deathbell + Dwarven Oil + Salt Pile
Chaurus Eggs + Garlic + Vampire Dust

used with advantage for levelling or selling (pretty high value)

You also should make more different potions, advance your Alchemy skill, till you can put points into revealing 2nd 3rd 4th effect.
