Might be the nostalgia bonus. I think it adds +3 to a games Charisma.
I can't say that its just graphics with me since I still play Baldurs Gate.
I wouldn't say "OMG YOU HATER FIDSHFHSBDFHADBSFIBGJH" like 99 percent of the people comments on this are doing now, but it is sort of correct.
The graphics: 10/10 Excellent!
Gameplay: 8/10 Acceptable, Good.
Music 100/10 *dovahkiin theme being played over and over*
AI: 4/10 Very buggy, you can put things on their faces and steal their stuff, breifly or dont at all notice dead people, buggy behavior and animations, sometimes glitch into walls and objects...Meh. Not the best 'round town.
Quests: 6/10 Eh, The "Main quests" usually consist of Kill this guy, or kill that guy, or steal this, or talk to this guy or give that letter to this dude, and are mostly repetative.
Voiceacting: 3/10 Its 4-6 Voice acters for over 1000 npcs. Yeah? No. I hear the same people over and over and OVER it just gets tiring.
Controlls: 9/10 Could use some tweaking, other than that its good.
Fatilities/Kill moves: 8/10 Sometimes npcs will still be talking after you took of their heads. Or while your slicing them they'll go "Hey don't do that!" Hm. I mildly annoyed him.
Mods: No rate, it depends on what mod you get
DLCS: So far I only have hearthfire Its pretty good, 8/10. But my children don't go in houses I move to, and I can only adopt two!
TWO
Bu- Bu bu...But...What about the little homeless kids?
*cries*
Does that make me a hater?
Skyrim, which has sold >20 millions copy, have most likely almost 10% of the players who have a negative feeling one way or another, and that will be almost 2 millions players.
This is ok...this is fine....this show we are all different....with different opinions..
What is not so ok, are when we start to post our own negative remark as valid points, when we never give any valid points to build our critics on.
That one in 10 feel that the game is crappy because the AI don't work as they expected, is valid for them...but not for the game...because 90% feel ok with it...the same goes for everything else.
If the game should be so crappy that some cry out for, then at least 30-40% must share that feeling on that point, and if that was the case, then I am sure any developer would fix it asp.
Some of you call us who try to give some valid points back on negatve critic "fans".
I am not a fan of Bet, I am not paid by Beth, neither Steam, but I play the game, I get errors...I investigate my own rigg....I change my mods..I look in my own NEST, and until now I have found my errors as """Mine"", that be a wrong collection of mods, or running background programs, or wrongly installed help programs....how can I complain on Vanilla Skyrim for this?
When we are allowed to change our product, then we also transfer much of the responsebillity to ourself....it is not a human right to install every mod we want in what order we want. It is not a human right that I shall have everything of the free stuff working on my rigg, and if it don't, then it is NOT MY FAULT, but the fault of others.
So it is ok to have Negative feelings for Skyrim or whatever....but if you want to complain...do it with valid points or go on with your life......imho.....I have > 250 games on Steam....95% of them are playd less then 30 min....the games has all been given > 70%, and even so I have not fancy them....should I then go around on every forum, for those games, and complain what crappy game they are?
