Hearthfire cant buy sawn logs anywhere

I bought land and started building a house in morthal. I started getting low on logs and I needed to buy more. I dont have a housekeeper and I went to riverwood solitude morthal and a few others mills but none of them have the option to cut my own or buy the logs. even if they like me. so now I am stuck, any ideas?

Ok when your building your first manor you will be directed to a lady who lives at a saw mill if you have problems still not getting your logs type this in ~ console command help sawn log
or try sawn you will see the code there and type player.additem (code) amount u want after space

thanks. i put in the command once and it didnt work, then i found out the ID for sawn log is dfferent than the one on the wiki and it worked, no idea why mine differs

well i dont know why but ever since i started building additions, the main hall never showed up and the additions are just floating around where the main hall is supposed to be. the little cottage part works fine, but the rest of it is screwed up. guess i have to make another save

I had an issue on a new game where I couldn't gather logs from Riverwood. It was because I didn't sell Hod (owner of lumbermill) any firewood. This is kind of a way for them to "value" you. So make sure to sell some firewood for a little bit to the owners of lumbermills to get the sawn logs function to work.

It does not matter where you get the logs. The one just north of Falkreath usually sells lumber.

Thats why i told you to type help sawn log because like the code at the wikik does not work especiallly the parts with xx its usually 0200

Okay.... Did you enter the house before finish building the main hall if you did yea it tends to be that way

i think you have to choose the mill near your house, if you're building the house in falkreath thats either the one in the village or the one on the west coast of them lake with the vampire owners

guys the wood problem is solved, but both my houses are just screwed up like I said above

yea thats the normal way to get logs not a fix.

anyway like i said, my houses are bugged, it let me build the house wings, but the main hall is not there. so the additions just hang in open space and if i enter the house i just fall infinately. i think its only for that character but i have yet to test it again
