Dawnguard, How do I turn my spouse into a vampire?
I've killed the head vampire and I have Auriel's bow, I am the head guy now at castle Volkihar. I heard there was a way I could have my wife (Janessa) turned into a vampire like me. If anyone could tell me how I would appriciate it.

you could console command her into one. i would try to find a mood that does it first though.

i dont think so. almost all NPC's excluding the dragon born are not able to change race's. the vampire and werewolf forms are considered sub-race's by the system and thus cannot be changed unless console commanded in i think.

Keep doing quests for the vampire faction. Sooner or later you will get a quest to turn your wife.

YOU CAN! i stumbled upon this chat looking for a way to do it via console and i FOUND IT! in your console click on said child and type "setrace bretonchildracevampire" you can do the same to any npc too you just do "setrace [npc's race]racevampire" i went to left hand mine in markarth and killed Daighre adopted Erith and adpoted Sophie from windhelm and turned them both still deciding on my bride
