Ustengrav Depths Gates

OK, I got though the three gates in Ustengrav Depths with Whirlwind but...My companion is stuck behind them. Is there any way to summon her to my side? Seems like pretty poor game design.

When you go through and carry on they just follow later whether gates are up or down. They will catch up when you go into room with water and find note etc or leaving ruins.

PS this does happen a lot, now I just keep going they seem to be there in next section. I still active chains and level so they don't get trapped.

Why is pretty poor game design? Your follower does not have the ability to use whirlwind shout. They will appear when you pass into a cell that requires a game load or will find a way round that is designed into the game. This quite often happens if you jump down a cliff face and they have to use the path down.

Vilja is the only follower I have found to right there at your side through traps, gates etc, up and down cliffs. She even goes where it is highlighted that [follower can not go in there], like the black books, some ruins etc. Someone may figure out how that modder did it??
