Not really - all the decently flat places either already have houses or are marked for Heathfires house building.

On the other hand - if you're making (yet another) player house mod then you can mod the landscape in your selected area.

Im not too familiar with the landscape editor, seems rather advanced for me. Might look into finding a tool to help, I also don't want it to look like I diliberatly made it flat. Kind of like it it natural.

The few player-created house mods I have tried didn't bother with flat ground architecture, they were multi-level fitting into the terrain at the "empty" location chosen to build the home.

Hmm, The goldenglow estate is two levels so I wonder If I could make it on a hill so the bottom level is sort of a basement,

The only way to find out what you can or can't do is open the CK and muck around.

Have fun bashing code! :)

There are a couple of small flat-ish areas in the tundra. That's usually where I place camps from the camping mods.

As I understand it you can define a house to have a cellar/basement. That cuts a hole in the terrain no matter what. If you don't really want a big hole under your house, how about a one inch air gap under the floorboards/tiles? This would stop random rocks and/or trees in your kitchen and alchemy lab. Outpost copes with the raised basement for uneven surfaces, but has yet to prepare the ground by cutting out the right shape hole. It just slopes in the cellar,...with trees. The alignment issue is an XYZ rotation nightmare you get used to, but the distance starting set to right in your grill so you can't see anything makes no sense to me. A work in progress, but an amazing project. Building multiple houses in a zone of your choosing. With guards, towers, walls, patrols, raiding, resource collection. A word of advice if you try it, the distance from a central point for the build zone includes vertical distance. I put a starting well in the saddle back crossing between the mountains of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Folkreath. Ideal for a place to fast travel to. Not such a good farming region. Couldn't stretch to include any major mines either. I just started poking around on this map looking for good sites to pitch up. https://srmap.uesp.net/ . It's unofficial so you know they try harder. ;)
