HELP! Everyone Is Standing Like A Statue In An "X" Pose Position!
Hello! Uh, I've had this problem for so long now. I got tired of trying to fix it, so I went back to playing "Oblivion". But now I feel like playing "Skyrim" some more. I went in search of a fix, and I found a new mod for helping with "skeleton animation", but not about "Skeletons". But anyway, the new mod didn't fix the problem either. People are stuck with their arms and legs spread, as if at attention for Taekwondo Classes, but with their arms to the side. Hmm. I've seen cheerleader squads start in that position as they say, "Ready?! Okay!" too. What can be done to fix this problem? Please, help! Thanks in advance. Oh, by the way, when they can move, their limbs stay in place, and they just sort of scoot about, like in a stop-motion animated movie, in which the figures can't bend, twist, or otherwise strike a pose, let alone walk, run, or crawl, or fall over.

you need to run FNIS before you launch skyrim

"FNIS"?!

Oh, crap! I just misunderstood "Store Page". I thought it was like, "Stow it!'. Then I clicked on it, and it told me that I own the game. Sheesh! OOPS! I'll look for "FNIS" elsewhere then.

Oh, hey. Heh! Before I saw your replies, I had been there and downloaded it with the NMM, and it told me that I had it already, but I downloaded anyway, for upgrades, just in case. So I loaded my saved game, and it hadn't change anything. I loaded the save game mod file called, "Create Character", that somebody else made. It didn't seem like the people wold move in it either. So I was just about to give in and try an actual new game, even if it meant enduring the wagon ride video. But then I saw that I had new replies. I'm going to look for that, "Run Gneerate FNIS For Users" and see if that works. Now, where is it anyway?

the skeleton body is not always compatible with some animation mods. that could b the problem.

Oh, well, looking for which one was the culprit, was what I was doing before I gave up some months ago. But now it has been so long, I don't know where to start looking. That's why I tried a newer mod. Hmm. I thought that the NMM would detect such conflicts and prevent them from being installed. Well, thanks for your help. I'll keep looking, maybe.

ARGH! I just learned that the proper "FNIS" is in the "Tools" file! I was using it the wrong way before. Now maybe that it has done what it is supposed to do, my game will work right. I'm about to launch for a test. If that doesn't work, I may go back to "Oblivion" for awhile again. Uh, not the movie though, the game.
