Glass Weapons Too Early?

I am only level 16, since I recently restarted from the beginning. I just found 2 glass swords, one in a cave and the other in the Ratway Warrens. Glass weapons are only supposed to start showing up at level 30. How did I find these?!?! (0__o)

Given the randomized nature of loot it is possible to receive glass weapons/armor at level 16. Not as common at 16 as they will become at 30, but still very small chance to happen.

i remember playing morrowind, I basically didnt do any of the main story quests, I would just run around and raid dungeons I saw on the map that came with the boxed set. Found lots of glass, ebony, etc. Couldnt use most of it except the heavy stuff, and no boots or helmet (argonian).

i dont really know not a expert on random loot mabye the game is on drugs and thinks your at a high enough lvl,may be encounter bosses near that level, or you just got lucky i find ancient daedric chesst (restores all hp mana and stamina) ALL the time at low levels which i think your suppose to find around lvl 60
EDIT Do you have any mods that have something to do with weapons that may be why as well

i remember it taking ages for glass weapons to drop for me in oblivion buts thats probably because the leveling system worked differently, you would only find out if you had leveled up after you sleep in game, which wasnt very often for me.

I once found an ebony sword in a chest al level 7... I think the level system is kinda screwy.

lol, you think the loot in this game is broken? get SkyRe and you will start finding dragonbone weapones and armor by level 13 while clearing bandit hideout's, lol. xD

level 13 is that it? i has dragonbone at lvl 1 :P how i almost never level up lol

You probably have a mod conflict that is screwing with the leveled lists. I've had it happen with NPC's - spawning high level bandints while I'm on m why to Riverwood after escaping Helgen.

I only use graphical mods, like Immersive Saturation Boost. Nothing I have could conflict with leveled lists.

You know that overhang on the way to High Hrothgar where the troll spawns? I was level 8 when I checked it out.

Enchanted Daedric weapons. The loot spirits favored me that day.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, until I found that the mod screwing with my leveled lists supposedly didn't make any modifications to leveled lists. You'd be surprised by what can go wrong with different mods interacting.

Have you used BOSS to sort your load order?
