Messed up first-person camera...Understatement... *SOLVED*
I have...no idea how this happened. All I remember is that I jumped into skyrim and all of a sudden, the first person camera just...How can I put this...It just flips-out pretty much. 3rd person is just fine, no problems at all; however, every time I hit F, the camera immediately looks skyward and beyond...far enough that it makes a full vertical 180 and it end up jumping into the backside of my character like his very soul is on meth. It just might be because of the crap-ton of mods I have installed, but this has NEVER happened before. The first-person camera is so sensitive that just moving it slightly will set it off. Hell even just MOVING will set it off! I so much as walk a few steps and it makes that full 180 again...Interestingly enough, when I approached an NPC in first-person, the camera was slightly above my character's head. The NPC's still stared up into the sky as if I was a giant, but when I hit F and shifted to third person, their gaze directed right back to my character...which really confuses me some...Any ideas on how to fix this?

I can't, I've been playing in firstperson primarily for years and it's almost impossible for me to get used to thirdperson at this point. It's harder for me to examine things; it's harder to aim magic spells and arrows, etc. It just feels weird to me to just change my play-style just like that.

Not sure but
Console command FOV will set first person back to default angle.
or if the default setting is messed up FOV 85 (what I play at)
give it a try.

Neither worked, saddly... :/

"The first-person camera is so sensitive that just moving it slightly will set it off."

You go into the settings -> Gameplay
and adjust mouse sensitivity?

Taking it down to the lowest posssible setting helped, however moving my character is another story. Even with the sensitivity down all the way, moving in any direction will still make the camera jump up or down almost immediately.

I'm also having this issue, I'm trying to figure out if it's a mod that's messed it up or not but third person is completely fine, I do not understand why.

I've posted your original post on nexus forums in some dire hope of help - http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1074284-messed-up-first-person-cameraunderstatement/

Ah, I'm so glad I'm not alone here...Still, the last mod I installed before this happened was the Ningheim race...I've already got rid of it but that didn't fix anything. :/

Yeah, If I figure out how to fix it, i'll let you know - I'm thinking about re-installing and then replacing my data folder but i'll look for other solutions first

Figured it out, i had a mod called XP32 Maximum Skeleton which seemed to cause the issue, soon as I deactivated it and launched, First Person worked fine -

You might've installed xp32 maximum compability skeleton and accidently clicked yes to you having joy of perspective - at least, that's what nexus chat guys told me and yep, was the issue

Wait a minute...I remember downloading that! Imma delete it and see if that does anything.

Yes that is exactly what happened to me, i thought choosing the joy of perspective could be fun, to be able to see my character legs, but turns out it messes up with the first person, so i had to reinstall it with default 1st person
