Skyrim Bugged Marriage
I tried to get married, and the entire quest seems to be bugged. So far, it seems like I'm the only one on any of the forums having this particular problem, and I can't find a fix. I got engaged to Ysolda, and made my way to Riften to talk to Maramal. I told him I would like to get married, and he scheduled my wedding for tomorrow, from dawn till dusk. I waited till dawn and went back to the temple of mara. And waited. And waited. And waited. There's nothing there to even insinuate that it's my wedding day. No words of congratulations, no fiancee, no party guests, and no "Failed: Attend your own wedding" notifications, even after a full week of game time. I tried loading a save before getting engaged and trying again, with no luck. I tried getting married to someone else, and still no luck. Help?

I did both. On one try, I waited 12 hours to take me to 7AM. On the next try, I waited 36 hours to take me to 7AM the day after that.

Wait until 8 AM or maybe 8:30 AM on your wedding day. That is Dawn as far as the marriage quest goes even though the sun is up (Dawn) before that time. Hope this works.

EDIT: Appologies, shouls have blocked it out before I posted it. If it spoiled something for someone again I'm sorry.

Either that or it's an elaborate setup and all the townspeople are in on it.

That is a possibility.

Appreciate it, but I've literally tried every time of the day for seven days. The game isn't recognizing something. At the very least, I should have failed the marriage quest if I was supposed to get married and am just showing up at the wrnong time.

Do you have any mods that change NPCs, especially any that change who can or can't get married? Mods can be the bane for most "can't do this" problems.

I had the same issue, I arranged my wedding in the evening and had to wait at least a full 24 hours (the next morning didn't count) in the end just left my guy in the church by the alter and did something else for a while, I came back just at the cut scene of the wedding being over. If you are happy to risk missing the main event and coming back to a married couple then you could try that tactic.

Hrm; I recently got married. Anytime past midnight they'll walk right into the temple. I also skipped my marriage by traveling across map before midnight, so. I did all the temple quest before-hand and my wife is Miura or w/e from Marketh the hag potion shop. (who just happens to have a bug of her own in accordance with wiki ) . My save has a few bugs from me transfering it over from an older non steam version of skyrim, and my character lv was 66 when I got married. So I've no clue how you're having issues :P I really wish Esram of the Blades had a voice lol.

Did you check Skyrim wiki?
Do you have your amulet of Mara on you? (dont know if it matters)

Maybe you have to be engaged for a while :P I bought the amulet, sand then did all the temple quest; Then got married.

Edit: Nm cause I ruined my marriage and tested whether I wanted to marry the Companion girl instead but changed my mind as I love having a sexy little vendor in my house. Trying to change her cloths with pickpocket once I get it maxed :P
