Can't recharge enchanted weapons. Help please?

PROBLEM WAS FIXED, PLEASE STOP THE THREAD NECROMANCY,,,
I had zero mods on at the time but I had to reset the keybindings and make sure I had charged soulgems to fix the problem.

More information would be helpful. What weapon is it? Is it a vanilla weapon? A moded weapon? Expansion weapon? Was anything happening at the time during which it apperently bugged out? Do you meet the requirements if any to recharge said weapon?

If you still cannot get help after providing more information I recommend droping the item or selling it then readding it with the console. I don't usually support that kind of thing but if it's bugged it's bugged.

To re-add it with the console do the following.

Hit "~" then type the below

Help _Insert item name_
Then hit enter. A list of items and item serial codes should pop up. Use [ Page Up ] and [ Page Down ] to find the serial code for the item that was bugged. Make sure you use the charged weapon versions code. Then hit "~" and type the below

player.additem _Serial Code Here_ 1
Then hit enter. You will have a freshly refilled version of the same item in your inventory.

i would double check to make sure you have filled soul gems in your inventory, also i had this issue when i messed with my keybinds, i know you said yours are default but it's the same as the wait key, so double check using that if you havn't been alrfeady

Not to be oblique, but do you have your inventory open and the weapon selected in it before you press T?

How did you fix your problem? Saying what you did might help someone else who experiences a problem like yours in the future.

I am having the same problem - sort of. I open my list of weapons and scroll to the enchanted item needing recharging. At the bottom, it indicates "T" to recharge. To the right, it shows that the enchantment is empty. But when I press "T" nothing happens. I've looked at the list of keyboard controls, and I see nothing indicating a key for charging and nothing is using the letter "T". Any ideas?

Of course... after hitting every key... The Wait key is the charge weapon key. That should have made sense. Not!

oh, uh. sorry. this is really old. somehow my keybindings got messed up, so I reset them to default. also, you have to make sure that you have charged soulgems in your inventory.
also, wow rude. I was really new to the community at the time, and didn't really know the posting etiquette for issues like this.
