Striking the heart bug : nothing works...
So i've got this "Striking the heart" quest bug : I need to kill the silver hand leader, and when I do it, nothing happens. I already tried to resurrect it and kill it again, or to mess with the setstage (I tried setstage cr09 00, cr09 10, cr09 20, cr09 100, corresponding at the different quest stages), and the command isn't working.

I don't know how to correct this bug and this is driving me crazy. Thanks for your help!

I think I'm having the exact same problem here, tried everything you have... any solutions yet? Also, when you look at your quest's objective does it let you view it on the map? Is it on the map at all?

No, I couldn't see it on the map.

I solved the problem by using the command that auto finish the quest, with 'completequest'.

Ah, I see - you had the exact same problem as I have then, glad it worked :)

When I use 'completequest' however, Aela still thinks I have the quest... did this happen to you? Know of any way to get around it?

Try to use the completequest command, and then save and restart the game, maybe that'll help !

I've already tried it unfortunately :( Aela still thinks I'm still on a quest, even after saving and restarting. Thanks for your help anyway, I've made a thread on the Bethesda Forums so I should have a fix soon :)

I think I had another bug with her later, or with the companions in general, their "end game" is pretty buggy :s

If it doesn't work you can typ "Player.sqs CR09" in console and se what stages you are on and the stages you have completed it will be a 1 besides it. If you havent done for example stage 10 you type "SetStage CR09 10" and you will get the mission and when you hve gotten the mission just typ "completequest" and then type "SetStage CR09 100" and "completequest" again and you will be grand.
