Big empty Lakeside manor
I've finished my mansion at Lakewood manor complete with all the extras except the apiary. My problem is I can't buy ther furniture. I've got 54000 cash I dont have a bounty on me. I go to the yarl's steward book and charter in hand but she won't offer to sell me the furniture. My manual has no information on where to do this. The pages won't turn past the additions. Is this a glitch or am I doing it wrong. I had no problem furnishing my house in whiterun.

Hearthfire is about building and furnishing your own home. Once you've bought a plot of land you'll find a drafting table, starting materials, workbench, and a anvil. First you'll want to draft your small house, then construct the room with your workbench. After you do that you may go inside and use the workbench in there to add furnishings. Don't forget to consult your guide to homesteading (found on your workbench) for descriptions of the different rooms. :balloon:Happy building!:balloon:

The outside workbench is for the building itself.... when you go inside each room there is another workbench for each room which focuses on the interior stuff for that room.

If you can't be bothered to get all the supplies you need for building everything, go get a steward and ask them to either get you more supplies (which show up in the chest by the outside workbench) or ask them to go get furnishings for each room for a set amount of money.

Afterwards, the only things you'll need to build are the trophies which you have to do yourself (by hunting / killing and collecting the required parts for the creature in question)
