General Tullius will not accept the Jagged Crown

I have some sort of glitch or bug that is braking my whole game. I have done SO MUCH STUFF and I'm level 53. I DO NOT want to start over at this point.

So I go to join the Impire, but General Tullius is being an idiot... First he was not even in the Dour at all, and the Legget was just talking to herself. So I had to use Tullius ID and do a player.placeatme command to make him appear. So then I talked to him and took the oath, starthing the Impire faction quest... Sounds good right? Wrong! So I go do the first quest, get the Jagged Crown, and I come back to give it to Tullius, and Tullius just does nothing at all. His menu just says: "How goes the war?" and if you click it he sayd were going get Ulfric, then he says "Get out of here"...

So I cannot finish the first quest, much less the faction... Whats the hell is going on?

im neither stormcloak or imperial i kill both i just kill imperials more so lol

Has happend to me in the past with Oblivion. I was at the very last quest for the theives guild, and the main guy would not accept the item I had retrieved for the quest. I just said ♥♥♥♥ it and went on about my way -.-

Anarchy30, might I suggest that you observe the forum rules about not posting off topic or disrupting the topic of a thread with nonsense. Who asked you what you kill? I'm attempting to sort out a rather gamebreaking bug\glitch.

meh it could be the quest is broke does that help if all else fails console command the quest complete (how you do this idk look up the quests id or find a expert that uses console commands alot i dont because i dont cheat unless its something like that )

One thing I have noticed is there are many more Female Stormcloaks. I see very few Female Imperials except for the Captain at the begining and Leggett Ricca. Oh there is one archer at the begining also.

Also some of the Female Stormcloaks are not hard on the eyes.

With that kind of fun how could you not become a stormcloak.

As for the OP's issue: There are 2 console commands that you might want to try out. "completequest [quest ID]". That SHOULD automatically complete the quest. Normally, I might consider that cheating, but since you've done everything needed for the quest and Tullius just won't accept it, I'd say you're definitely obliged to use it.

The other, you have to target Tullius (open the console and click on him) then type "recycleactor". That SHOULD reset him as an NPC. Just make sure to save before attempting either command as it might screw up your game in unforeseen ways.

Hope at least one of them helps!

Tried the recycleactor command twice and nothing happened at all.

This is getting on my last nerve here.

He just keeps saying, Ill get Ulfric... over and over... and over...

Well, the Legget is back where you get the Crown, I went ALL THE WAY BACK there to talk to her... She just says "Take that Crown to Solitude" so she is wanting me to finnish the quest before she will do anything else...

It's because he realized how false the Imperial Cause is and refuses to accept such a crown he is unworthy to behold!
