"R" button fix?
Alright, so I started an adventure for a let's play, but figured out that I can't use the R button.....which is going to be annoying. Reason being is that it's the take all, give item and drop item button. I can't drop heavy loot, I can't give it to my follower so they can't even get good equipment, and I have to tediously press "E" everytime I go through a chest or something that holds tons of items that I want.

So, anybody know how to fix this?

Here's my list of mods. Figured maybe one of them could be the issue but I'm too lazy to go through them one by one to figure out which, if any, are the culprit.

some of those mods require the binding of keys, as I'm sure you're aware. What you'll have to do, is go through the menus to re organise your key bindings. Laborious, perhaps, but that's your load order my friend, not mine :/

I have the keys binded exactly how I want. Only thing I can't bind is the "R" functions that I described above. If it's possible, then where can I do so cause it's nowhere in the controls options.

My advice would be to try resetting the bindings to default and start over.

Also, there are a couple of key binding mods on Nexus if you're interested.
Can't recall the names atm, sorry.

Easy fix... Use a Xbox360 controller... I use the logitech 710 wireless and the game plays great without the keyboard ^_^

Can I still use the kayboard with the controller? Or does the controller overwrite the keyboard like one would expect?

If it overwrites the keyboard.....then do you have another suggestion?

A friend of mines has a working controller, and I want to be sure of this before asking to borrow his.

Interface hard Coded Key Tweaks is the mod I use to correct key binding problems.

While it still says that it uses the R key in your UI, it really uses whatever key is bound to your ready/sheathe action.

Also, the F key has the same bug in the UI, which is used to Favorite. This is set to the key bound to your Change View (Toggle 3rd Person) action.
Overall, if a key is used for more than one action in the game, changing that key bind for one action will change it for ALL actions in the game with the same key bind.
P.S. The problem is not with key binding, it is that the button image on the UI is not coded to change to the button you set. It is only a static image of the default key.
