Barbie's Ultimate Mod guide - Lore and Unlore mods a plenty
First of all the main title is ment to be a joke as some of you here know my main character is called barbie and she is ment to be bimbo like - AKA bringing the sexy back to the lands of skyrim

Anyways a few people have asked me about all the 200+ mods i have got running and figured i would make a thread about it to help people get the best out of there skyrim as i think some people dont understand really how managing mods are ment to work.

First of all register an account at the nexus forums and download mod manager and install it. This is all free so dont pick any payment options (thats only if you want quicker downloads i think) and once mod manager is installed and set up then your ready to go.

The main tip i can give for people downloading over 200+ mods is to organise and test each mod first before downloading like 10 at a time and preying for the best. I have found only a few animation mods work at a time and more than 7 seems to cause the crapped out rainbow effect (anyone who has played fallout 3 on an xbox360 will know what im on about with that crash) i have also found its best to download 1 mod , then load up the game, test it all works, quit, install a new mod and repeat onwards basically.

To begin with - if you have not seen my character barbie before then here she is

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=156827566

Now barbie herself is made up of at least 12 mods all merged together to make her look how she does. I know some people like to keep things LORE friendly and some like NON-LORE but i am trying to make my game so it can be a mox of the two.

During this thread im going to show you how to get several amazing armours you may not have heard of before + improve the look of khajits and aragonians + give your followers loads of new options + have various new mounts such as spiders/mammoths/armoured saber cats/armoured giant wolfs + new skyship homes + new weapons + general improvments on the game such as auto-remove arrows when you change to a sword and basically a whole ton of other various cool things.

Im going to begin with BLAZE - The Horse of Fire. - LORE FRIENDLY

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=157292263

You can get this mod here
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25097/?

he is titled - Blaze Of Eventide by Alek - and is basically a horse made of pure fire. Now the great thing about Blaze is that he is not like other horses because for starters you use a SUMMON spell to bring him to you and you also have a quest to actually gain him. You hunt down a mage and basically take the book which teaches you how to summon blaze. You can also command blaze to attack various creatures and if he dies he basically explodes into a huge fire ball killing anything near it and leaving a firery crator. If blaze does die then you can simply summon him back to life and obviously since he is made of fire - he will consume any fire attacks and regain his own health.

Heres another of Blaze

People have, by and large, respected the non-pinup threads posted here.
Might be nice if they got the same in return.

Without OPs sexuality being (quite hypocritically) challenged.

see , skyrim is a game where you make it as you want it to be , play a mage , a warrior , or a pacifist ,
the games draw isnt sexy attire , it's the chance to make the game your own , play as you want ,how you want

it's even there for guys like you , the guys that havent grown up yet , you spend hours posing and primping fake girls ,putting them in sexual attire to re-afirm your hetro tendancies, and those of your piers , and yet the act of playing dress up is rather feminine ,

maybe its time you looked inside a figured out why you would want to post this

Oh shutup. hypocrite. So everyone must have the same tastes as you? everyone must respect you're thread full of useless screens yet you can just go dump on this guys screenshot thread?
Go on respond and flame away all you want, but you are showing you'reself for what you are. A Self-righteous, Self-centred hypocrite.

He posted his pinups in you're thread, you told him to get lost. So he created his own thread and now you attack him. PATHETIC.

Hey OP nice screens and info on the mods you used. They will help out the people looking to make the women of Skyrim look better thats for sure. And as for the people who dont like this content, i am oblivious as to why they would even post in a thread thats not related to them.

I like the sexy attair....I just don't use it because I went up walking in slow motion from one Hold to the next and it takes forever to get anything done.

lol, its just a phase. they will get tired of it eventually and start making men and looking manly whilst fighting the wyvern's of skyrim (i dont call them dragons cause they are not dragon's.)
i can honestly say that whenever a new and cool looking charachter pop's into my mind, i try and recreate it in skyrim and obtain whatever mod's i may need to do so. people need to stop asking what mod's other's are using and attempting to recreate thier game in another gamer's spitting image. they should go out and test mod's for themselve's. thats what i did and im currently satisfied with what i have.
stabbykitteh Jul 16, 2013 @ 10:47pm
There are quite a few women who make and use these types of mods as well. Just sayin'.
Live and let live, stop making assumptions and derailing @THUNDERCATS thread.

For my part in it, sorry. Carry on.

instead of posting this stuff by using a thread, make a steam guide and publish it so that way you can be like "oh, you want to know what mod's i use? check out my steam guide then." steam guide's are very convinient but sadly ignored.

Okay, I really feel like the luckiest Bethesda player ever right now. You mentioned how anyone who's played Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 should know what the rainbow glitch screen is. I've played hundreds of hours of said game on said console and have no idea what you're talking about. You mentioned how terrible using the 'showracemenu' command is yet I've used it dozens of times and nothing has ever gone wrong. And just the other day someone mentioned how everyone who played Fallout New Vegas day one experienced the "Doc Mitchell Exorcism" glitch. Never once had it (though I've seen videos and laughed by tail off at them).

So... I guess I'm the luckiest SOB that's ever played a Bethesda game or something.

Carry on.

They're looking at all the hatin'. Shoulda just kept it to a screenshot gallery....
