Skyrim Hearthfire Glitch
I have this problem in Hearthfire.

In Lakeview Manor (I think that's the name), insect ingredients spawn, like fireflies and dragonflies. You can harvest them as ingredients. They are located on the left side of the house and on a very tiny pond just north of the house.

But my problem is that there is too many. Actually, that's a understatement. There are literally HUNDREDS of these bugs that have spawned, dropping my FPS drastically. I have searched and found no such help on the internet, so if someone can give some input on this certain problem, I would find that most helpful.

Thanks for your time!

That is incredibly odd. Do you have a screenshot of the swarm? Do they spawn even if you travel to somwhere else, and then back?

Yes, they spawn even when I travel somewhere else and back. It's very strange, it appears like there is no spawn cap to the insects. I can't seem to get a screenshot though, so I'm trying to explain it best I can.

Do you have the Greenhouse extension on your house? That causes bees, butterflies, luna moths and torchbugs to spawn in the Greenhouse (and in the rest of the house too).

No, I don't believe I have a Greenhouse extension on my house. As far as the screenshot, when I attempt to take it, it just doesn't work for some reason. Quite odd, but I'll try best I can to get it.:tradingcard:

If it is on the left side of the house it looks like a Greenhouse effect although I have not expereienced bugs but have bees and butterflies. Lakeview has a pond to the south of the building and a lake to the north. I have not even seen bugs at the pond.

Edit your Start menu -> Documents -> My Games -> Skyrim -> Skyrim.ini and make sure you have "bAllowScreenshot=1" under [Display]. For some reason, Bethesda *loves* having it off by default in their games (at least they did in Morrowind & Oblivion, and Obsidian had it off in New Vegas).
