Resurrecting Followers?

I have lost three followers during my adventures in Skyrim, and now cannot find any others. Is it possible to recover or resurrect them? If so, how?

Well there is the resurrect console command

ANSWEAR:
1> Open your console while looking at your followers body
2> Type in "resurrect"
3> Then click your follower body a few times and make sure it says an id on screen for beeng sure
4 > Your follower will appear in the position he died when close the console.

NOTE:
#> Resurrecting will reset the character inventory , make sure you did not have value items on him before resurrecting
#> Resurrecting will reset him as well so if he gets stuck or has a bug , just resurrect him while he's alive
#> As i remember , resurrecting will make him leave your service so you will have to ask him to follow you again.

On the way up to see the Greybeards my Lydia got killed!! So I looked about and found out how to use the console to resurrect her right. When back, she walked over to her own corpse, looked down at it and said "whoever did this is gonna pay," or something like that. hehe

sounds like you've ressurected a reference of Lydia

is there a way to heal your follower, in battle or out of battle, and i had a problem when i left, one of my followers in the thieves guild, i did some sneak missions, but then he vanished, is there a reason he left, and can i get him back, with all my stuff i had on him lol

ahh ok, is there any reason you would kno of, that my follower would vanish after i left him somewhere for a little bit, mayb a couple missions

Okay, this advice would work for me except for one thing... I lost each of those followers some time ago, so they are nowhere to be found. Hence, I cannot find their bodies to resurrect them. I tried going to the hall of the dead to find them (as someone once noted) but no such luck. I suppose I need a way to reset them so they reappear in the taverns where they were originally found?

If you are not a fan of cheating, theres always quicksaves you can load up.

There's a potential follower or two in every hold. There are three in the College of Winterhold alone. You just have to do some quests for followers to become available or hire them from the taverns.

You have a much better chance of your companions surviving a fight, or you accidently killing them if you put some healing potions in their inventory, for them to use.

Isn't there a HEAL OTHERS spell you can buy? Been a while since I used it and have forgotten who sells it

Collette at the College? I usually end up buying a spell tome although I don't remember from whom.

I think the two possible spells are convalescence and greater convalescence. Then, an heal class mage can sell thoses spell.
