When to start Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC?
Hey just wondering when it would be a good point to start the either of the DLC, should I wait until the main story is done or just start now.

Thanks

i wouldnt start dawnguard till your midway through the main storyline. this will give you time to level and the higher level you are when you aquire the unique items like Auriel's Bow , the stronger those item's will be. in my honest opinion, i dont recomend trying DLC or deadric quests that award you unique items till youre level 40 or higher. as for dragonborn, get the main story out of the way and as many of the game quests as possible done. you will enjoy the super leveled equipment when you get it.

it is a universally know fact that the higher level you are, the more OP special/unique item's, weapons, armor get.

this is a false statement only quest items that give non unique items have different levels if its Deadric quests or DLC unique items they are fixed in power and armor rating. if you get them at level 10 when dawnguard starts or 252 they are the same

so start dawnguard at lvl 10 and dragonborn at 20

this isnt true. ive aquired auriels bow at diffrent levels and its base power and enchantments do vary. your statment is false.

All unique items do vary in power and enchantment strength. Unique weapons have diffrent strengths at diffrent levels. this has been confirmed with DLC unique weapons, deadric weapons and faction weapons (excluding civil war factions.) i havent tested deadric armors. i dont think thier base defense increases.

Normal vanilla weapons under diffrent names dont increase or level with the player i think.

all arifacts are set in stone for there power and armor rating only leveled loot has different stats and Auriels bow is an artifact.

Dawnguard cannot start until lvl 10, however i suggest waiting till lvl 15-20 (playing on adept difficulty) for dragonborn, i start no earlier than lvl 20. Ash spawn slaughter you if you are 10 or lower

FALSE.... dawnguard can be start at any level (below 10) if you reach to fort Dawnguard. It is just harder to locate it when not lvl 10... and as for dragonborn well im having a hard time with it it like the game is trying to make life hard pitting me against Lurker at lvl 11 when not even in the black book plus i decided not to get any follower at that time.

IMO....I would do the mainquest line mixed is with any of the other guilds you might want to join, do all side quests....Would say DB around lvl 20....Save DawnGuard for the very last only because the Dawnguard you will most likely lose some npcs due to the vampires wich could mess you up in finnishing the main storyline.....Again maybe main quest? Civil War if you choose to then Dawn guard....
