Kill Grelod the kind? Or no?

So I got the innocent lost quest saying to kill Grelod the kind. She doesn't seem kind, more like a wretched mean witch. Should I kill her like it says to? Does it hurt your reputation or add you to bounty?

Yes get rid of her and let the kids have a decent carer. As long as no one sees you your OK. The guards will comment on the old lady at the orphanage getting killed but so what?

i killed right right infront of the kids and helped no bounty at all

The kids are not going to dob you in, they hated her anyway.

Played through several times and I had no issues coming back and cutting, piercing and blasting her all the way to oblivion each time. The kids and the girl that takes over the orphanage are happy that she's dead and will not report you, however I have once killed her outside in Riften and the guards came after me.

I killed her, some idiot named astrid got me. She died in seconds. And had some great armor to sell.

Yes I objected to getting kidnapped and got rid of her and her gang.

I actually fus ro dah'd her and she died instantly. I didn't expect that to happen.

Even if you have no intention of joining the Dark Brotherhood, I would do it. Doing so gets rid of an evil woman, allows you to adopt the children in the orphanage assuming you have Hearthfire, and opens up 2 paths, one to join the DB, and one to destroy it, depending on the morals of your character.

Only reason I killed Grelod cause she was mean to the poor children. "Nobody wants you" then Grelod died that day.

I think killing her is wrong. Yes she is very evil woman but she don't deserve to die only cos of idiot stupid child want it. She should just be reported to Jarl, sent to jail or just fired from orphanage. This will be adequte. But killing, like wtf? What idiot thought up this quest? I'm going to use console commands to proceed quest without killing her.
