some one help any tips for killing all the witches at Orpahan Rock?

Take fires resist potions, sneak in attacking those patrolling around main witch. Use bow with Paralysis potion. Take Lydia or another companion with you..Sven with full armour and good weapons. Hide behind trees and use A and D to avoid incoming attacks....once lower witches are dead rush the Hag, shout her....bash with bow or shied to interupt her casts....keep hitting and use potions before you die.

Using poison on all your weapons help. Do the long range thing where possible with your poisoned bow and poison your sword, etc. Make sure you have a follower and if you have spells or shouts use them also.

simple here is what you do use a jarrin root posion its basically instant kill to anything that isnt a dragon jarrin root code is 1bcbc combine it with a damage health reagent

If we're going to cheat, we might as well use the "Kill" command, eh?

Because last I checked, there's only a single one of that item available, and it's difficult to keep thanks to its role in a certain quest.

Actually Nemo if you use this alchemy house[skyrim.nexusmods.com]. Shame we can't use it on food and kill the Hagravens with "kindness". :D

I was lvl 7 or 8 when I went there, and as a casual gamer I resulted into a "cowardly tactic". I'm playing as a mage and had a follower with me. Uthgerd, I think. I summoned the fire atronach and led first the other witches away from the rock. After killing all the small fry, I sought a place from where I could aim for the Hagraven, but hide quickly behind the trees when she aimed for me. Then I just shot fireballs at her while Uthgerd and my fire atronach spammed their shots as well. It was over quite quickly.

I've used the invisibilty potion to get close to her then just hit a lot with my weapon. Having Serena as a follower helps as well, she can take a lot of damage. I even took the dog Barbas with me once as he was invincible at the time.

"Cowardly" Nonsense. Discretion is the better part of valor. Good tactical planning.

Just run up and over tree dtump get in close she can't use firebolt on you and attack just keep and eye on health usually I recharge behind tree before racing over to rock and recharge just as I get to her.

I came upon orphan's rock. found a skeleton under a fallen tree. But don't see any witches?

I just run in with a lot of healing potions and whack them with a sword

Before you go there, visit the Lord Stone and do the Mara quest in Riften. Those two, combined, will give you 40% magic resistance, on top of whatever racial resistance you may already have. Then, boost the others with rings/necklaces/shields, etc.

Then, you really don't need a plan. You just mosey on in there, basically without any fluffs to give about their magic, and wipe them out.

Killing witches is easy with any high damage weapon and some health potions. It's the hagraven that's hard. Just keep running and jump to dodge her fireballs.

She's a lot less lethal if you get to the melee range as soon as possible. Then she would only use her claws.
