Character won't stop running
Just recently I was playing and right after a melee killcam, my character began uncontrollably moving forward without my input. I tried disconnecting my keyboard and controller, toggling autorun, restarting from an earlier save, and restarting from the desktop. Nothing worked, the character continues to run.

Has anyone seen this problem before and found a way to fix it?

Break their legs and make them go through intense therapy!
I could run them off of a cliff, but then they would just respawn and keep running.

Try hitting the C key and see if they stop.

What key do you have auto-run toggle set to?
I don't remember changing it, so I thought it was C. I'll start the game up and check quick. I do know that I did not use or bump the keyboard prior to the occurance of the issue

The C key is the auto run key I got it stuck once and had to go back to a previous save. Save your game every 30 minutes at least. Between the Mods, Steam and Game there are many things that can go wrong. I looked on it as a learning experience.
Well, I just restarted the game and this time it seems to have cleared up the issue. Skyrim is such a fickle beast.

Thanks to those who gave suggestions

Don't forget to save at least every 30 minutes you can have 10,000 saves if you have enough hard drive space. As you get into the game some can be deleted off. Good luck you Dinkleberg you seem like a good person most do not say thanks.

I know it is bit late, but I think I have found the problem, go to your sticky keys settings and turn all of them off.

Sticky keys: Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Make the keyboard easier to use

Took me a bit of tinkering to make it stop for me, but try hitting 'W' (or whatever key you are using to move forward) quickly three times.

I had this problem with another game and it was due to a contoller being connected at the same time. You guys are trending with this thread resurrection thing! ;-)

I fixed my issue by holding ALT+TAB and using the arrow keys to re-select Skyrim and once it reopened I could use WASD again and wasn't autorunning.
