how do I get out of wolfskull ruins? to the exit into skyrim from Wolfskull cave.

in order to get into the Ruins I had to fall down a hole; now the only way out of the ruins leads always to this hole. But I can't climbe out. Is there another exit, but I've been going round in circles. Nothing else is indicated on the map. Help please

Have you completed the quest "The Man who Cried Wolf". If not you will not be able to complete the Wolfskull ruins. Otherwise the lever to find the exit is at the top of the tower.
