Valve probably won't care about this, since they don't set the price. Some publishers like CD Project or Paradox tend to have universal pricing as well.
Heck, I preordered Skyrim from ♥♥♥♥ Smith for $71 and then changed to GMG for $51 like 3 days before launch because ♥♥♥♥ Smith ran out of copies (for a pre-order, whut?).
The reason I'm annoyed is because it costs more to buy the DLCs than it does to buy the Legendary Edition of the game, but all I want is the DLCs, yet I can't get them in a bundle
I don't think you understand the point, the fact is the DLCs cost MORE than the Legendary Edition (that is, the game plus all the DLCs). Which is simply ridiculous.
I'm in the same sitiuation. I bought Skyrim few weeks after release and finished it. Now I want to play it again with DLCs.
It's quite stupid that I have to buy whole Legendary Edition and so pay again for Skyrim, or I have to buy DLCs individualy and pay even more.
Why isn't there similar option as in the case of Civilisiation V? If you have basic version and you want Gold Edition, then you buy just upgrade.
How different is it a year later than it is now?.....A lot cheaper...that's what....
Yes, I understand that DLCs will be more expensive because they're newer, but what I'm trying to say is that Valve could sell all the DLCs in a bundle for $20, and still make a profit, because $40 for the base game and $20 for the DLCs is $60, which is still more than the $50 for Legendary Edition.
If anyone from Valve reads this, feel free to use this pricing.
Nah, go for Dawnguard.
And Mr. Moonlight, Valve does not set the prices nor bundles. It's Bethesda's job.
Im not sure what the latest dlc was like but i hear it is the best of the lot with a new land to explore etc. In short, just buy the last dlc, if you fancy the dawnguard 1 its good for a while but gets boring pretty fast too
