Dawnbreaker: what level should i be to get dawnbreaker at it's highest damage output.

What do you mean by level? If you mean what level you need to be to get dawnbreaker its at least level 15

player is at level 27, someone said to wait until i was level 60 or higher before going to get the dawnbreaker sword, as it will have it's highest damage output for high level players

I thought it just levels up with you anyway, so, I don't think it matters....All weapons' Damage increases as your level does so.....It's only vanilla weapon spawns that are determined as what type depending on your level....if you are noob, you will find noob weapons, if you are master, you will find Elite weapons.

As for Dawnbreaker, I don't think it matters what level you are, as it's damage will increase on a set plane, according to your skill level in real time....

so if i get dawnbreaker now at level 27 it would more or less be a noob weapon, then later at level 81 it would be an elite weapon. Yes?

upgrade the dawnbreaker sword using ebony ingot on 100 skill tree for smithing perk maxed out and have the arcane blacksmith perk. Dawnbreaker also has additional damage to undead creature (vampire included) so it makes a great weapon for Draugr, ghost, skeleton, dragon priest etc.

When you get to Solitude it is the first quest you do for the Jarl's Steward. As the others have said as you level up it also but you need to charge it with fllled soul gems. This depends on how and when you arrive at Solitude early or later in game play.

Hmm, Different for me....I went to my First word wall in Bleak Falls Barrow, and found the Beacon....Didn't have anything to do with Solitude in my game....

Meridia's Beacon is not in any fixed location. You find this in a random treasure chest when you reach Lvl 12.

i usually find Meridia's Beacon at level 1 because i go through Bleakfalls Barrow right after i talk to Rolf sister about telling the jarl about the dragon attack at helgen

i got it pretty early , it comes in handy until you can craft better weapons and know stronger spells

Well, yeah, That's why I was confused in this thread as I found it right at the start in Bleak falls Barrow Chest, after Kiling the 'boss'....(not much of a spoiler, this is obvious)
