help with ring of the beast please

i've googled the problem and tried everything i found to get this ring but with no joy , i must have cleared the cave earlier and now i can't get the ring , i've got all the "unofficial" bug fix packs but it still doesn't show .

Also i can't reload far enough back to restart the quest and now i'm stuck

you can use the console command to advance the quest

first hit ` bring up the console and type Player.sqs DA05 and see what stage ill met by moonlight is on.

i will need to see where your quest went crazy at

stages with a 1 after them are done if it has a 0 its not done.

if its where i think it was when it crapped out save the game in a real save slot and try this

Setstage DA05 80

that should advance it to just past the part where the hunters are dead and you need to talk to Sinding again.

stages 1-10-20-50-55-60-61-65-100-200 = 1

stages 70-80-105-205 = 0
