Bug: Keybind on potions reset?

I have potions currently favorited and keybound; Healing potion to "3" stamina potion to "7" etc. Upon using a potion with the hotkey, the bind will reset. I am forced to enter favorites menu and re-assign the key, and it will then reset upon use again. This is not the case with weapons or ammo. How to fix this?

This is currently a gamebreaker for me, forcing me to pause in combat making this unplayable

I think it because you only bind to 1 thing so when you use a potion with you hotkey (bind to Favorite) the item you bind it to disappear hence why you have to re-bind it to favorite... Arrow are a diffrence story

Potions once consumed are removed from your inventory. So your hotkey is now empty. Weapons are reusable so stay in your inventory. You have to put up with stopping and consuming a potion if you need it. You can have a healing spell from Restoration assigned to one hand while you have a weapon in the other, but not a double handed or bow.

the thing is it is working perfectly on my other character, forgot to mention that..

its working fine on my other character though, i can press 3 many times in a row to spam healing potion without a probem =/

I tried that one out and found that if you have more than one copy of the same potion marked in your inventory, i.e. Health (2), it will allow you to use both but then will revert back to a null situation. So if you want to continue to use the same potion you can do so but must have more than one bottle in the set, i.e. Health (4) which allow you to use it four times.

Don't forget that a potion does not respawn. You have to replenish your supplies and then actually favourite that particular set because it is no longer in your inventory.

i spawned 1M "potion of minor healing" and that is that one set

it might be because you spawned the item through the console. I haven't tried adding items like potions through the console... i am trying to use the console as little as possible for at least one playthrough...

yeah i hear u. I made a new character so thats why i'm doing it. Already played the game through twice without cheats though :)
