Greybeards sending me to words of power I already have?

So those senile Greybeards are sending me to a place I have already received the shout from. Arcwind Point or something like that (South middle). I go there, murder the dragon that is usually flying around and walk up to the wall... The word glows blue but I already have it and the screen doesn't do it's weird fade to black thing. I've gone back and forth a few times between the shout and the Greybeards. Nothing is budging. Any tips?

If it's completely bugged is there a console command that can push me through to the next one? I know I don't have all of them, I've found 2 since the quest bugged out. Any help would be awesome or just tell me how I'm being stupid.

I experienced the same situation. In my case, I came to realize that the few Words I still had to learn were in dungeons that were part of a quest. That is why the Greybeards were always directing me to Arcwind Point: there weren't any other "available" places for them to send me (I had found every available Word that was "out in the open"). Try completing the different questlines and you should find the few remaining words that way.

Remember there are 3 shout to complete the main ability shout (listed shout in magic section) Maybe they must be completed from left to right as listed when using dragon soul

Hey I am having the same problem when it comes to being sent to Arcwind Point for a word I already know. Now, you are saying that I have to find the remaining words on my own? Could I say look up which words they want me to learn and compare them to the ones I know? Because I am kind of stumped, and if not what quests do I have to go one to get past this glitch?

You could run a wiki search on the shout words you're looking for. That's helped me a lot.

"Known bug. The only solution without console command is to go to Northwind Summit and get the word there, and you can only do that if you haven't yet learned the word. Otherwise, you have to either reload a save or use console commands.

The commands you'll want to use are

SetStage FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20 (completes quest)

and

SetLocationCleared fd685 1 (prevents Arngier from sending you back to Arcwind Point)"
