quest log bugged "collect 5 ice wraith teeth"

I did this side quest but it is stuck in my quest log. dose anyone know the console command to get rid of this or what the quest ID is for this quest?

There are at least two very well made wikis for Skyrim. UESP.net & elderscrolls.wikia.com are both wonderful resources that either will have what you need or link to where you can find it.

I hate that stuff too, and I have about 10 different ``Misc'' quests that are stuck in my journal. I chalk it up to inadvertantly eating my Alchemy ingredients instead of storing them.

after getting the quest ID and trying setstage command the quest is still stuck on quest log but cant be clicked on anymore. thats about as good as it gets I guess.

Don't worry about tex Icecream man. Bugs don't always effect everyone.

There's no way Bethesda can predict what quests will be active in your journal, what you've already done, etc. Certain combinations seem to cause bugs for different people.

This one showed up after official patch 1.7 I think. I couldn't get it out of my journal either. Went back to an earlier save and did it again, that time it cleared properly. Go figure. You could try that, if possible.

Good advice for this game is to make lots of hard saves,
so you can go back a bit if there's an issue.

ya my save list is about 12 saves but I didnt notice it untill many saves later and a save befor this quest was gone. the quest giver still has the quest complet dilalog and I got the loot for doing it the quest is just now stuck in the log. thx too the people that were helpful.

I've got the same problem. Did the quest and it didn't clear the journal entry. And I don't have a save from before turning the quest in.

I guess I'll have to live with it but it's going to drive my OCD mind insane :p
