Can't stop floating or walking through things

My character won't stop floating or walking through things. I've tried turning the TCL command on and off but it doesn't work either way. Any suggestions?

make sure you dont have a target selected in the command console when turning TCL off. it will only toggle if you dont have a target selected

How do I know if I have a target selected?

well. go into the command console and then click on something. you see that string of letters and numbers that appears? thats your target ID. to deselect targets just go to third person, and in the console click on yourself a couple times till no target ID appears.

Gah! Still not working I've tried multiple times in multiple locations and either way I still can't stop floating.

I cant stop floating nor can I use my weapons at all.

You've likely used tfc. Use it again (with nothing selected in console) to toggle it back off.
