Can a NPC's name be changed using console commands?

as above title^^^. Found a decent follower mod on nexus. Only problem is she shares the same name as my ex and I am intrested in changing this followers name lol.... (sad i know lol).

I'm not sure if this works for NPCs added by mods though. But I imagine it does.

Cheers though I'm not sure what part of the thread or my question can be deemed sexist just for disliking a former spouse.

You can do it with TESVedit I've heard, its fairly straightforward, I'm not familiar with it myself though.

Wow I forgot about this thread. Been resurrected. Ended up changing the name using the Creation Kit so all good.

Ahh... a Vagrant Story fan /ThumbsUp. Spent a lot of my time on the PS1 with that game. A gaming masterpiece imo. I still have the original CD etc though not much good on my dead PS2.

I don't know the console command however there was a command on fallout new vegas that changed it however I used it on Skyrim and worked the same.
