can't complete any quests - missing quest items!! help?

I can't complete any quests on skyrim. I never had these problems till the other day, very strange. It first started on ' the owrld eaters eyrie' I went to the 3rd puzzle room and when i looted the draugrs body there was no diamond dragon claw, so I could not open the door or continue. It then happend on 'the blessings of nature' quest, when i looted the hagraven the was no nettlebane. Then it happend again when I went to collect the pommel of mahrunes razor, I loted the hagraven and there was nothing there, just some feathers :S

Can anyone help? has anyone had this problem. it's affrected all my quests. Will reinstalling the game fix it?

i really hope someone is still reading this topic and has an idea. now i have the same problems with nearly every given quest item. none of them shows up in my inv. even with all mods deactivated thre is never a quest item given by someone or taken somewhere. this bug does not seem to be very common because also google does not know much about it. afaic i need some help. thanks

I can't help specifically because I've not encountered that problem. Considering the original post got no responses suggesting a solution, it may be a rare bug. I suggest you post also on Bethesda Software Skyrim Forums[forums.bethsoft.com]. When I e-mailed Bethesda Tech Support about a problem I was having, they suggested posting there because the Bethesda development teams read them (even if they don't always respond to every thread).

found the solution (after 3 more days in the internet :( ) the problem was i.e is you loose all your items after the No One Escapes Cidhna Mine quest. you HAVE !!! to finish this quest. no matter how you do it ( did it via console command) you find the quest stages at various sites in the internet. until you did not finish this damn quest. you will never ever see any quest item anymore because skyrim believes you still did not get your items back. so they are still hidden from you.

sharkrr's right. i figuured out how to do it a couple of weeks later. there was a bug in my game where the cidhna mine quest did not complete correctly. i escaped cidhna mine and unlocked the chest where my items were, but not by the correct route which meant that the game thought i was still in there. i manage to complete it and my game was completely restored :D

You don't get everything back even after correctly completing the ‘No One Escapes Cidhna Mine’ quest. I had 72 dragon souls going in, and 22 when I got out. Not happy.

I didn't check to see what else was missing. I did get all my armour, weapons, and such back.
