Stuck in slow motion...
For some reason I've been getting stuck in slow motion after power attacking for quite a while. What's the Console command to clear this state?

it's a thing they happen sometime, ususlly just wait some second and it's will be ok, or try to reload your game, or enter a place (house, ect...), you can try to to let's you dying in combat, sometime it's replace the thing when they reload, or restart skyrim, or all the computer but if they are very stuck you will need to reload an older save game..., (i hope you save your game time to time...)

this thing happend usually when you try to make more thing in the same time when they start the video for the final move or when you block a power attack with your shield, if you use mods, this "stuck in slow motion" you have are not make by any mods, it's a small problem in the vanilla game, it's hapen time to time but very rare...

i don't think they have a consol command for this but i give you a link if you want to look in the console command they have...

have you got a time bending mod by any chance? If not can't help. All though a ring that slows down time 100x is fun. Launching 20+ arrows at a giant in slow motion, releasing the time slow down and hearing the "pop-corn" popping sound as they all suddenly rip a giant apart can be fun.

Naw, no time bender mods but if I can figure out how to trigger it reliably It makes dungeon runs easy. :D *Waits on slow motion door to open* ...

Got this mod for Screenies and for messing around. There's a ring for speeding time up and another to slow it down. Beware the physics engine can take a battering and produce some bizarre results. I got a screenie of Jarl Bulgruff sitting 6 feet above the seats.

Maybe it's the "Blocking Perk" that slows down time when you block. Soemtimes the slowdown effect lasts longer than it should.

For anyone still having this problem, try adding the Slow Time Ring, then equip it for a moment then unequip it, that worked for me. (see jakethebusker's post, thanks Jake).

Is your caps lock on? I think the default key for slow walk is the caps lock key.

Your welcome groupthinker. (cool user name by the way) How bizzarre that a mod that wasn't being used has solved a problem created without the mod in the game???

It's not rare. I just started a new game this month and encountered it three times.

Weird. My "q" key which is default (toggle always run) has always caused slow motion as if I was over burdened or sneaking with unsheathed weapon. It only happens when I miss the tab key and hit "q". I don't care about "always run" and hitting the "q" key again always fixes it. Strange, since I have not remapped any keys and it has been doing this since day 1 vanilla.

Yeah, I've got no mods and I'm still stuck in permanent slow motion when I use the shout. Loading a save doesn't work.

To stop the effect use the console command : sgtm 1 to set the time multiplier back to normal.
I hope this was usefull.

Anyone using Better Vampires can experience this as well.
I had the same problem a while ago. In my case, it turns out that the problem was related to the Archery Steady Hand perk - exiting a game while zoomed in results in the time slow being permanent when you reload. A quick fix is to equip a bow, zoom in and zoom out again, and time will be back to normal.
