Yeah. The Dark Brotherhood quest line was stalled when I used that mod. I was unable to complete the quest for refitting the Dawnstar Sanctuary regardless of the console commands I used (I fiddled with it for hours, trying all combinations I could; I considered myself fairly well versed in the console command system before I stopped playing).
I'm aware. Considering I resorted to console commands to fix a bug introduced by the mod, there wasn't a whole heck of a lot I could lose.
Besides, I didn't make a habit of skipping ahead in questlines; it would sort of defeat the purpose of me continuing to play (I played largely for completionist OCD reasons).
As a result I am pretty darn sure I never introduced a sleeper bug based solely on that. And I am absolutely positive I didn't because the moment I uninstalled the mod in question I was able to complete the quest.
I guess I wasn't clear. The only way I messed with any quests on my first playthrough was by spawning quest items to complete a fetch quest; typically just herbs and generic collectibles and not anything serious like a Dragon Claw or Medalion Fragment (consulted the wiki a LOT looking for exactly what you're talking about).
And let me restate what I've already said: I was able to complete the quest as soon as I uninstalled the U.S.P. I know how to troubleshoot and the mod was the problem, not the saves (which I did revert back to in the process of troubleshooting).

I personally have only seen one issue in Dragon Born other than the shield problem and that was with an semi transparant maarik in the final fight that proved immune to damage and forced me to reload my game. Not seen any other issues at all. Not even a single crash.
Mind you I know the script languages little quirks and how to avoid them.
Did save my werewolf and may have to go back and just play as wolf.
Thanks for info...and I guess not running Mods...as I have none will not make them fix my game. Not real happy with these folks.
